One of the most ancient materials for clothes is wool. Soon after our ancestors, the cave men, learned that you can carry half a dead furry animal or piles of fur to keep warm, they invented spinning wool. And what a fantastic material wool fibre is! It has so many characteristics that even high tec fibres do not reach - amazing.
If you are a wool aficionado and like wool, you most probably will want to work with it. The first thing that comes to ones mind is spinning wool. I found a nice informative page about that on a german blog: Schafwolle spinnen

Last but not least you will want to knit with your wool, and let’s be honest, although it can be really fun to do all the things like spinning and dyeing yourself, most of the time you will just buy a good ball of wool in a shop.
